Changing hormone levels can change the way your skin behaves and how sensitive your nose is to certain scents. In the first trimester, it is good to stay away from any essential oils so it is a good time to look at your skincare and what's in it.
As your body changes, you need to keep the skin on your belly, hips, breasts and thighs hydrated and moisturised to help minimise those stretch marks. Start early on and get in the habit of moisturising before bed.
As you move towards the birth you need to think about your scent and your deodorant. Babies spend a lot of time cuddled into you, near your armpit, ideally, they need to smell you and your milk, not your deodorant, we have plenty of unscented deodorants to choose from.
